I formalized my study of Natural Healing processes with a degree in Naturopathy from Trinity College of Natural Health.  Informally, the woods, the plants and the people who are years ahead of me at this have been my inspiration and mentors.  I also studied herbs while working as an intern at Herb Pharm in Oregon, and Western herbal energetics with jim mcdonald in Michigan.

I have been a certified birth doula with DONA (Doulas of North America International) in the past, and now only serve in this capacity for very close friends and family. Supporting pregnant people and their families during this time, still holds a special place in my heart.

My hope is that in seeking to know the plants that surround us, we start to educate ourselves and become our own apothecaries. I would like to put simple healing tools within reach and empower people to find what works the best for themselves.

What would the world be, once bereft

Of wet and of wildness? Let them be left,

O let them be left, wildness and wet;

Long live the weeds and the wilderness yet.

from Inversnaid, Gerard Manley Hopkins
